New Crosswalk Signals on W. Kirkham

The City of Glendale recently installed new crosswalk warning signals on W. Kirkham Avenue! These signals were paid for with City funds, as well as grant funds obtained by our Police Department. They were professionally installed by our Public Works Department.

As a driver, flashing lights means you are to yield to the pedestrian.

As a pedestrian, upon approaching the crosswalk, press the signal button and wait for the signal lights to flash. 

Once the warning lights begin to flash, look both ways and wait for oncoming traffic to stop.

Please do not enter the crosswalk before the warning lights flash.
