Firehouse Designated as 'Safe Place' Site

IMG_8106 - CopyThe City of Glendale Firehouse is now a Safe Place site! Safe Place is a preventative program aimed at helping children and teens in crisis situations. Through the non-profit Youth in Need, Safe Place locations assist in getting immediate help for children and teens.

Trained staff reach out to Youth in Need while providing a secure location for children and teens who need assistance. Signs are posted on the front of the firehouse, including phone numbers for other resources and to get in when firefighters are out on a call.

For immediate help, call (844) 985-8282 or text the word "SAFE" and your current location (address, city, state) to 4HELP (44357). Calls are confidential, available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
