The City of Glendale contracts street sweeping services with Sweeping Corporation of America (SCA), a local street sweeping contractor.
SCA is contracted to sweep the following streets monthly:
- Sappington Rd.
- Kirkham Ave.
- Essex Ave. (between N. Sappington Rd and the Glendale/Kirkwood shared city limit line)
- 800 block of Chelsea Ave.
SCA is also contracted to sweep all streets in Glendale during the first week of April and November. The Glendale map is divided into 5 sections designed to avoid sweeping on household trash, yard waste, and recycling collection schedules.
