Berry Oaks Lane
Asphalt streets require routine maintenance to remain in good condition and to reduce long-term repair costs. Two common and cost-effective preservation methods are crack sealing and sealcoating, which help extend the life of pavement that is still in generally good condition.

Crack sealing involves identifying and filling cracks in the pavement to prevent water from entering and causing further deterioration. To perform this work effectively, streets must be free of parked vehicles and other obstacles.

Sealcoating is the second phase of the project. This process applies a protective coating to the pavement surface to shield it from weather, traffic wear, and oxidation. Similar to crack sealing, streets must be cleared of vehicles and obstructions. Treated sections will be temporarily closed and will reopen the following morning after the sealcoat has fully cured.

Work along Berry Oaks Lane is scheduled for the following dates:

  • Monday, June 1, 2026
  • Tuesday, June 2, 2026
  • Friday, June 5, 2026
  • Monday, June 8, 2026

Please refer to the attached map to determine which day your section of the street will be closed for construction activities.

Please note that this work is weather-dependent. In the event of rain or other unfavorable conditions, the schedule may be adjusted. Any updates or revised schedules will be posted on the project page of the City’s website.
