Comprehensive Plan Public Workshop on June 25

Blueprint Glendale Logo - CopyThe City of Glendale is currently in the process of developing “Blueprint Glendale,” the City’s first Comprehensive Plan, along with an update of the City’s zoning code (which was originally adopted back in 1963). Blueprint Glendale and the revised zoning code will guide the physical character of development, public space, and infrastructure in Glendale. They will be written in response to the Glendale community’s vision, goals, and desires for the future of Glendale.

The theme for Blueprint Glendale is “Embracing Today, Planning the Future” and we need your help to develop it! With our initial analysis phase complete, we are now ready to launch the public portion of this project to gather your feedback.

Join us on Tuesday, June 25, 2024 6-8 p.m. for our first Blueprint Glendale public workshop. The workshop will be held in the auditorium at Glendale City Hall, located at 424 N. Sappington Road.

The workshop will begin with an informational presentation from H3 Studios, professional planning services team, to share a summary of Glendale’s existing conditions. This will be followed by small group discussions where they will ask for your voice on what you value about the present of Glendale and what hopes you have for the future. The workshop will involve work boards where you can share your thoughts as well as opportunities to provide written feedback.

For questions or more information, or if you are unable to make it to the workshop, please call us at 314-965-3600 or email blueprint@glendalemo.org.
