house_fireDisaster can strike quickly and without warning. It can force you to evacuate your neighborhood or confine you to your home. What would you do if basic services such as water, gas, electricity or telephones were cut off? You and your family need to be prepared to take care of yourselves for three days or more following a major disaster.

We recommend the placement of Knox Boxes on your houses. A Knox Box is a locked key storage box for your home or business. knoxThe only organization that has knoxaccess to that box is the Glendale Fire Department.  It would allow us to have fast access to your property without having to force our way through doors or windows in the case of an emergency.  Both residential and commercial boxes are available on the website. Whether you are in Glendale or Warson Woods, simply click on the Knox logo and select Missouri from the drop down list and specify Glendale Fire Dept.

The Glendale Fire Department wants you and your family to be safe. The following pdf forms are informational materials that we provide to help you know what should be done before, during, and after events.
