Berry Rounds Lane was elected to her first term as Ward III Alderman on April 3, 2012 and sworn into office on May 7, 2012. Berry Rounds Lane has thirty plus years professional experience with expertise in employee relations and internal/external communications. She has been a principal in her own business, strengthening the reputation of Martha Rounds Academy for Children. She is competent in building cohesive teams and creating a network of partnership relations to achieve results.
Alderwoman Lane has a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Education from Saint Louis University. She is an active participant in organizations and causes that are important to her community and make a difference. She has served on the Board of Directors for:Junior League of St. Louis, Girl Scout Council of Greater St. Louis, YWCA of Metropolitan St. Louis, Nurses for Newborns, Greater St. Louis Book Fair, and Saint Louis University Library Associates, and The Miriam Foundation.
Alderwoman Lane is married to Tom, and they have three sons, Conor, Ryan and Kevin. They have enjoyed living in Glendale for 32 years.
