Glendale-Kirkwood Aquatics Center

In 1998, the residents of Glendale approved a tax, which allowed the city to form a partnership with the cities of Kirkwood and Oakland to operate an aquatic center. Glendale paid a per capita share of the construction of this facility, allowing our residents rights to the facility in Kirkwood. “Recreation Station”, as this facility is called, is located at the corner of Geyer and Monroe in Kirkwood Park. Information regarding this facility is as follows:
 
2011 Hours of Operation:
 
Sat., May 28  - Tue., Aug. 16
Weekdays - Noon to 7:30 pm
Weekends - 10 am to 7 pm
Holidays - 10 am to 6 pm
 
Special Hours:
Wed., Aug. 17 - Mon., Sept. 5
Weekdays - 4 to 7:30 pm

For entry into the pool, you will need to present a Kirkwood Parks and Recreation issued ID card. No other form of ID will be accepted to gain admittance into the facility. For general information, please call the Aquatic Center directly at (314) 984-6971.
 
Each ID cardholder will be allowed up to four guests per day, with a maximum allowance of sixteen guests per family each day. All guests will pay non-resident daily admission fees.
 
Individual Photo ID/Season Pass ID cards will be issued at the Community Center during regular office hours. ID cards are $5 each, both for originals or replacements and are good for up to three years. To obtain an ID card, each purchaser over the age of 16 must present:
 
A valid and current Missouri Driver’s License showing resident address and one of the following:
 
·         Current Utility Bill (gas, water, electric or phone) (issued to home address within the last 3 months).
·         Current Bank Statement (issued to home address within the last 3 months).
·         Current Voter’s ID Card.
 
Purchasers age 15 and under must be accompanied by a person at the same address who can present the documents listed above.  Everyone 4 and over must have an ID card.
