Daniel J. "Dan" Sullivan was elected to his first term as Ward III Alderman on April 8, 2008 and sworn into office on May 5, 2008.  He is running for re-election to this seat unopposed in the April 2010 election.  Alderman Dan Sullivan is married to his wife, Anita, and has one son, Ryan, who is a vocal music teacher in Lee's Summit, Missouri.  Alderman Dan Sullivan holds B.S. and Master's Degrees from the University of Missouri - St. Louis in Education and Counseling.  He is a retired Administrator/Fund Raiser with BJC Health System and is currently self-employed as a Fund Raising Consultant for three St. Louis based non-profit organizations.

His prior community service includes serving on the City of Glendale Board of Adjustment, as a School Board Director with the University City School District, on the Board of Directors with the St. Louis Downtown Rotary, and as a volunteer with the Kirkwood School District.  He served for two years in the United States Army, where he was stationed in Germany.  He is presently serving as a volunteer with the Kilo Diabetes Research Foundation.  He is also a member of the Eliot Chapel in Kirkwood.
